Mythodex reads your manuscripts and builds a reference you can look things up in. It doesn't generate prose, finish your sentences, or touch your files. You write in Word like you always have, and Mythodex re-reads a chapter when it changes.

For each chapter, Mythodex writes notes in seven parts: summary, story time, characters, key moments, world and lore, threads, and continuity. Each claim carries a ¶ citation. Click it and you see the exact paragraph highlighted in your manuscript. Mythodex also checks those quotes against your text and flags any that don't match. That check catches a lot, but not everything, so the citation is always one click away.

Mythodex uses your own API key from Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google or xAI. There's no subscription to us on top of that. You can also read with a local model through Ollama or LM Studio, with no key, no account, and no manuscript text leaving your computer. Before your first reading, Mythodex shows what each provider says it does with your text, in plain language, so you decide with the facts in front of you.
